JGeorge Consultants LLC was founded in 2021 in direct response to requested support navigating the contents of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), otherwise known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Package (BIP). We support non-Federal government entities and partner with private specialist companies to develop sustainable programs for community development and build accompanying systems for grants management. Our primary interest is to support your community understand its challenges and its potential; second to that is our ability to help you achieve that potential.
We don’t make promises we can’t keep. We don’t misrepresent the reality of a situation. And we value true, open, and honest partnerships.
No one likes unnecessary work. We keep unnecessary meetings, reports, and activities to the minimum, in order to focus on the substantive work that matters most. We strive to deliver the greatest impact with the most efficient systems to support those actions.
Adaptability, flexibility, resourcefulness. We will always find a solution to your problem, and adjust those solutions to the inevitable bumps in the road.
Just want to chat? We’re happy to! Talk to us about your community, the outcomes you would like to see, or your latest book recommendation. We enjoy our work because we are always learning about new people and new places.
We believe that a successful community development strategy depends on putting ourselves out of a job. Whatever your problem and strategy to address it, we aim to ensure you have all the required tools to take over our role in your community. It’s your community, not ours. And we include in our strategies the capacity building programs to simultaneously implement alongside the main program activities.
